Crannag - bistro in Bonar Bridge open throughout the year. Highly recommended.
Crask Inn- possibly Britain's most remote pub on the A836 towards Tongue - simple food and friendly bar in the middle of nowhere under Ben Klibreck. Seven miles walk across the hill from Shinness.
Golspie Golf Club - Fairway Restaurant. Available to golfers and non-golfers this friendly restaurant has good food and lovely views out to sea, including Mexican and curry nights. Phone 07826 929200
Dornoch, Tain, Golspie and Brora also have a wide choice of places to eat.
